Best and Worst: A Very Short Lesson

There are a few great lessons about comparative and superlative adjectives online.

This post will be a little different; I’ll show you a simple list of phrases so you can learn through reading the sentence structure. Please believe me. :)

Correct:

“That apple is the worst of the bunch.”

“We had the worst time listening to that ridiculous speech.”

“The situation was far worse than I had imagined.”

Incorrect:

“This day was worst than ever.”

“On the days we do jumping jacks on the roof, it’s the worse.”

“Worst” is very similar to “best.” Just trust me!

Don’t worry; I’m totally open to being wrong.
